As the race for the white house hots up, it is clear that the GOP is in disarray. The top party men, are at cross roads, they are at their wits end. They cant explain how they they came about characters who have no clear cut message.

The tragedy is, those they parade, except for Huckabee to an extent, lack what it takes to win in a country like the USA where we have diverse culture and etnnic base. It is clear that the GOP candidates have no strong message on the issue of immigration. Even huckabee was blackmailed by Romney because he refused to purnish kids in his state for the sins of their parents.

That is why john Mccain appears to be the only one who can beat a Democrat on D-day. this is because of his position on immigration. but for others, they tried to"out Tancredo tancredo" The xenophobic who dropped out recently has nothing to offer, except deport all illegals. A fantasy. Ofcourse the racist applauded, but we knew he would fail.

The GOP forget that there are millions of blacks, asians, hispanics etc who are independents. who have relatives.parents etc who are illegals As i write, as Romney, Guilliaani, Thompson, what solution they have on the chaotic immigration situation. They will chorus--NO AMNESTY, BUILD THE FENCE, POST MORE AGENTS, DEPORT ILLEGALS. But they have no idea on how to deal with the over 12million illegals here. No one is saying yes to illegal immigration, but what will you do as President.

The democrats have a passable plan, just like President Bush. So the issue may make the difference .
